As you already know, we have been working on preparing a demo for players to try out. The purpose of this demo is twofold. On the one hand, we want to showcase what Choose Cthulhu Files has to offer players, and on the other hand, we want to gather player feedback on the game. This feedback is crucial to ensuring that Choose Cthulhu Files meets expectations.
So, first, we wanted to announce that we expect to have a playable demo ready by the end of May 2025, and secondly, we wanted to share the current state of the demo.
We have already designed all the characters needed for this first demo, as well as all the scenes for the game's intro and the demo portion of one of the storylines included for you to try out.
Additionally, we have been working on multiple internal aspects of the game to fix bugs and improve the overall experience while playing. Right now, we are in the "assembly" phase of the scenes and conducting internal playtesting.
We are eager to complete it so you can try it as soon as possible.
Indie Games Show
We also wanted to mention that this year we will be participating in several events where you can get to know us better and where we will showcase some of the work we have been doing with Choose Cthulhu Files.
We will be participating remotely in the Indie Games Show in Málaga, where we will talk about our experience developing an indie game and showcase some live gameplay of Choose Cthulhu Files.
El Rincón Jam
We will also be attending, physically this time, the Jam El Rincón 2025 in Gran Canaria, where we will give a talk about indie development and be available throughout the event to chat with anyone interested in Choose Cthulhu Files, game development, Cthulhu, Lovecraft, and whatever else comes up.
Still Hard at Work
